Bomb squad called in Trotwood Monday: Police by: Avery Feldman, Trey Brown

 


TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) — We are working to learn more after a bomb was reportedly found in Trotwood Monday afternoon.

Authorities say that a bomb was discovered minutes before 5 p.m. near a business on Pawtucket Avenue. Trotwood police crews requested assistance from the Dayton Bomb Squad.

The bomb was found near the area of a trailer fire that happened earlier that morning.

That incident happened around 2:15 a.m. and involved a camper on fire near a car wash. No injuries were reported.

At this time, the two cases are not confirmed to be connected. We will update this story as we learn more.
