What Happened
The fire broke out around 2:30 a.m., and by the time the Lewisville Fire Department arrived, heavy flames were already engulfing the mobile home.
A resident who managed to escape told firefighters that four family members — including a child — were still trapped inside.
Firefighters rushed into the burning home and successfully pulled everyone out. However, the situation was dire:
The child and two adults were found in cardiac arrest.
First responders immediately performed CPR at the scene.
All five family members were transported to the hospital.
Fatality Confirmed
Sadly, one adult female did not survive the injuries.
Three other family members remain hospitalized in critical condition.
